NOTICE
The extra-ordinary General Body meeting of Karolbagh Bangiya Samsad was held on Sunday, the 20th November 2011 at 10.30 a.m. and approved the following amendments to the Constitution:
  1. Life Member, if he applies for and is accepted for membership, on payment of Rs. 2500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred only) by the Executive Committee by a simple majority of votes of the members present in the meeting and voting.


  2. Admission fee of Rs. 25/- shall be paid by every member on application for Membership.


  3. Monthly subscription for membership is Rs. 25/-. This amount shall be paid in advance within 15th of each month. Members who pay the annual subscription in one instalment may pay Rs. 250/- at the beginning of the 12 monthly period.


  4. An imprest of Rs. 2500/- shall be created for incurring day to day expenditure and shall be operated by the Treasurer, who shall keep accounts of all expenditure. Provided that the Executive Committee shall have the power to sanction any amount that may have been expended from the imprest with a view to raise the total amount to Rs. 2500/-. Any amount in excess of Rs. 2500/-at any time shall be deposited by the Treasurer in Bank within a period of one week.


  5. The funds of the Samsad shall not be spent on any item unless it has received sanction of the Executive Committee. Provided that the Secretary and the Treasurer may spend not more than Rs. 3500/- in a month without the previous approval of the Committee but details of such expenditure shall be presented before the Executive Committee and its ex-post-facto sanction obtained.
